This week, we’ll address any questions you have about the layout techniques you learned last week and dive into using Less – a CSS preprocessor that will let you write fewer (but better) lines of code.

Sync Up

• Questions about CSS layout
• Review Project 2 research
• Introduction to the Less CSS preprocessor

Activities

• Get introduced to Less, and experiment with using its:
  • variables
  • functions
  • nesting

Assignment

• Work through the exercises with variables and color functions on glitch.
  • Add some of the other color functions to the demo and experiment with mixing colors using different blend modes.
• Complete process steps 1–3 for Project 2
